Scaffold banner printing for construction and development projects
Turn otherwise unused scaffold space into clear, professional project advertising. Custom scaffold banners can display the contractor, developer, architect, project name, contact details or a leasing message while helping the site present a more organised public-facing identity.
Each banner is produced to the dimensions entered in the online calculator and printed in full colour. Finishing options allow the graphic to be secured to a suitable scaffold frame or supporting structure. Because scaffold positions can be exposed to strong wind, the installation method, fixing intervals and choice between solid PVC and wind-permeable mesh should be considered for the individual site.

Finishing Options
We offer several finishing options so your banner arrives ready to display. Here is what each option means.
Hems & eyelets (standard)
Hems
- The edges of the banner are folded over and heat-welded.
- This creates a thicker, stronger border around the banner.
- Helps prevent tearing, especially on outdoor installations.
Eyelets
- Metal rings inserted around the hemmed edge of the banner.
- Used to attach the banner with cable ties, bungee cords, rope or hooks.
- Positioned evenly around the edge so the banner can be tensioned securely.
This is the most common and versatile finish for fences, railings and walls.
Reinforced hems
- An extra-strong version of standard hems.
- A reinforcement tape is welded inside the folded edge.
- Adds rigidity and greatly increases tear resistance.
- Recommended for large banners, long-term installs or windy locations.
Pole pockets
- A stitched sleeve at the top, bottom or both edges of the banner.
- Allows poles, scaffold tubes or bracket arms to slide through the pocket.
- Commonly used for lamp-post banners, scaffold banners and hanging displays.
- Pocket size can be customised to suit your hardware.
Trimmed to size
- The banner is cut cleanly to your exact dimensions.
- No hems or eyelets.
- Ideal for indoor displays, mounting onto boards or specialist framing.
Custom finishing

We always ship using a 24-hour courier, but deliveries can sometimes arrive later depending on the courier’s workload or local delays. If your deadline is critical, choose 24-hour turnaround with collection, or contact us so we can advise.

We offer a range of optional extras so you can install your banner safely and neatly. You can mix and match these to suit how and where the banner will be displayed.
Cable ties
Cable ties are the simplest way to fix a banner with eyelets to fences, railings and mesh panels.
- Not required – Choose this if you already have suitable fixings.
- Indoor / light outdoor – Standard cable ties (approx. 4.5mm x 300mm, pack of 25) for indoor use or small banners in sheltered outdoor areas.
- Heavy duty (outdoor) – Stronger cable ties (approx. 7.5mm x 370mm, pack of 25) recommended for most outdoor banners.
- Super duty extra long – Extra-long heavy-duty ties (approx. 9.0mm x 550mm, pack of 25) ideal for lamp posts, large poles or where extra reach is needed.
The number of packs suggested on each product is a guide for typical installs. If you have a very large banner, extra fixing points or an unusual structure, you may wish to add more packs.
Bungee ties (ball bungees)
Bungee ties are reusable elastic fixings, often called ball bungees. They provide some stretch, which helps reduce strain on the banner and fixings in windy conditions.
- Not required – Choose this if you prefer cable ties or have your own fixings.
- Bungee tie – 75mm ball loop made with white flecked bungee cord and a black ball, ideal for railings, frames and scaffold structures.
The suggested number of bungee ties on each product is based on typical spacing. Increase the quantity if you prefer more fixing points or tighter tension.
Rope
Rope is useful where you need to span a gap, tie off to posts or fixings set back from the banner, or when you want a more traditional look.
- Not required – Choose this if you do not need rope or already have some.
- Yes, please (white 6mm) – Strong white decorative rope suitable for branding and signage installations.
The rope length shown on the product page is an estimate for a typical install. If you are spanning a wider gap, tying to posts further away, or prefer longer tails and knots, add extra length.
Bungee cord (shock cord by the metre)
Bungee cord (shock cord) is a continuous elastic rope supplied by the metre. Ideal where you need adjustable tension along the full edge of a banner.
- Not required – Choose this if you do not need bungee cord.
- Yes, please (white 6mm) – 6mm white bungee cord supplied at the length you request (priced per metre).
The suggested bungee length on each product is based on a typical install. For mesh banners and windy sites, shock cord or ball-bungees are often better than fixed rope as they absorb wind loads and protect the fixings.

Artwork Guidelines
We print in high resolution, so supplying good-quality artwork helps ensure the best result.
Artwork requirements
- File formats: PDF preferred, JPEG, PNG or TIFF also accepted
- Colour mode: CMYK
- Resolution: Minimum 150dpi at final print size
- Bleed: 10mm on all sides for banners
- Safe zone: Keep important text at least 30mm from the edge
- Fonts: Outlined or embedded
- Images: Use original high-quality images (avoid screenshots or web images)

Can you print any size?
Yes. All banners are custom-sized to the exact measurements you need, within our maximum roll width. If you are not sure what size you need, we can advise.
Do your banners come with eyelets?
Yes, hems and eyelets are included as standard unless you request a different finish.
Can the banners be used outdoors long-term?
Yes. All our banner materials are weatherproof and printed with outdoor-durable inks suitable for long-term use.
What if my artwork is low resolution?
We will check your files before printing. If a file is not suitable, we will let you know and can often help improve or recreate it.
Can you help with installation?
Yes. We can supply guidance on how best to install your banner, and in many cases recommend suitable fixings or hardware.
Do you offer trade printing?
Yes. We supply many print and sign companies across the UK. Trade pricing and white-label (unbranded) shipping are available on request.
